Built on a land named Helumoa, with history dating back to the first Hawaiian ali‘i, or royals, who called it home, Royal Hawaiian Center serves as inspiration for the Welcome to Our Legacy campaign and the ever-iconic backdrop for each issue of R Magazine.
With editorial stories featuring Valentino, Hermès, Fendi, St. Laurent, and more, every issue of R Magazine brought readers right into our Hawaiian paradise through food, fashion, and history.
Through art direction, wardrobe styling & trend forecasting, we told high-fashion stories season after season. Alongside our cultural partners, we wrote stories of Helumoa, food features, and Hawaiian history. Then, lastly, we oversaw final print and production of each page.
